So with Daisy Whitewolf busy working on other (really awesome) stuff I’ve picked up the reigns of getting back on the Egyptian graphic novel we were working on for Belly Kids - we had it on hiatus for ages but now I’m working hard to get it done so I can move onto other big projects (like that animation that still needs finished as well…) there’s no estimated time/plan for when it’ll be published or anything but hoping to have it completed in the next couple of months, will be around 18 pages, so the longest comic I’ve done (minus toastie-o but you know what I mean) so just showing you the first 3 spreads / 6 pages of work in progress!
'Bat-Brain Comics' is a new comic series by illustrator Murray Somerville, in which he depicts the Dark Knight in a completely new…
Illustration I did for a commission which alas didn’t make the cut at the last minute, never mind, enjoy!

Another selection from my life drawings this week, I will be archiving on a tumblr called “Naked Murray” soon but haven’t got round to making it pretty yet so for the mean time, these will do ;)
Scanned in two more pics from life drawing, will be starting a blog to archive them all over the next week, may start photographing them rather than trying to scan an a3 on a a4 scanner, piecing them back together is such a pain!
I’ve started life drawing classes again - planning to make a blog of what I get up to, in the mean time here’s one I did from my first night tonight!
So today I was at EGX Rezzed gaming event in Birmingham, doing some reporting for Morrid’s Tower, alongside host/creator of the site Ross Bowling. Had a great day and did some reportage illustration whilst I was there, which I’ve posted - some follow up illustrations will be accompanying Ross’ write up of the day, but enjoy these I did actually at the event which include my experience of playing Alien Isolation, watching the developers get asked if there would be wang in the new game as well as interpretations to a couple of games I saw! All in all was an awesome day and was a lot of fun!
Ok ok, so I’ve been getting a little carried away with the character sketches! This is another character from a story that is still very much in development, sci-fi also but this one will really be cool as it set in a futuristic world where monsters roam the earth but only under 18 year olds can see them, so adults have to rely on kid bounty hunters to kill them, like our young hero here! This will be such a fun story to make if I get the chance one day!
Another character sketch for another graphic novel idea of mine but alas one that I’m not ready to work on because it’s a pretty epic/ambitious story and needs a lot of dedication! Maybe in the future, but for now here’s the heroine of the yet to be named title!
